In Loving Memory: Virender Kalra

Virender Kalra, a soft-spoken warrior against Emery-Dreifuss Muscular Dystrophy, and a senior manager at Canara Bank Rajauri Garden Branch New Delhi, has left an enduring legacy. Despite losing his parents, he brought joy to every celebration.He has loving brothers and a motherly sister and whole lot of loving and caring nephews and nieces.
Dedicated to Canara Bank since 1995, he not only embodied liveliness but also steered the branch to be affectionately known as “Kalra Bank.” During a recent visit to the Integrated Muscular Dystrophy Rehabilitation Center in Solan, he proudly shared the impact of his contributions.

Beyond his banking career, Virender established the IAMD Rahat Physiotherapy Center in Delhi in 2014, located in his own residence. His boundless generosity made him a shining example of kindness and a true inspiration. Despite being wheelchair-bound since the age of 8, he led a dignified life, proving that dependence didn’t limit his independence. A philanthropist at heart, he transcended barriers, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
